Fresh Bhagwa Pomegranates from Nashik, India

Maharashtra grows most of India’s pomegranates, and the Nashik belt is at the centre of it. We source Bhagwa fruit direct from orchards in the district — deep red skin, soft seeds, and the sweetness overseas buyers expect — then grade it by fruit weight and pack it for cold-chain shipping.

  • Bhagwa variety, deep red arils
  • Sourced direct from Nashik orchards
  • Graded by fruit weight
  • APEDA & FSSAI registered
  • Available most of the year

Pomegranate

India is the world’s largest pomegranate producer, and Maharashtra accounts for most of that crop. The Nashik belt suits the fruit well — hot dry days, cool nights and low humidity through the ripening months, which is what builds colour in the skin and sugar in the arils.

We supply Bhagwa, the variety most international buyers ask for: glossy red skin, soft seeds, deep red arils and a sweetness that holds up after weeks in cold storage. Fruit is picked at the right maturity rather than early, washed, graded by weight, and packed the same way it will travel.

Because the crop runs in staggered cycles here, pomegranates are available for a good part of the year, with the heaviest volumes between September and February. Tell us the count size and carton format your market works with and we’ll come back with availability and a quote.

Common uses

Fresh consumption, supermarket and retail packs, hotels and catering, aril packing, and juice processing.
