Fresh Moringa Drumsticks from Maharashtra, India
Moringa moves in two directions out of India: drumstick pods to kitchens across the Gulf and Southeast Asia, and leaves to the health food trade. We supply fresh pods, cut to length and packed the day they are picked, along with fresh leaves for buyers who process their own powder.
- PKM-1 and ODC drumstick pods
- Sourced direct from Maharashtra growers
- Cut and graded by pod length
- APEDA & FSSAI registered
- Fresh leaves also available
- Air and sea freight options
Moringa
The drumstick, the long ribbed pod of the moringa tree, is an everyday vegetable across South India and increasingly a familiar one in Gulf markets, where South Asian communities buy it fresh every week. It is a quick-moving product: the pods go soft and fibrous if they sit around, so freshness at loading decides everything.
We supply PKM-1 and ODC pods, the two types grown for market rather than for seed. Pods are picked young while still tender, cut to a uniform length, bundled or packed loose in cartons, and pre-cooled before they leave. Fresh moringa leaves are available alongside the pods for buyers who dry and mill their own powder.
Moringa is sensitive to cold — below about 8 °C the pods develop chilling injury and pit. It travels at 8 to 10 °C, and for longer routes most buyers prefer air freight to protect shelf life. Tell us your pod length, pack format and destination and we’ll quote air and sea side by side.
Common uses
Curries, sambar and soups, fresh retail and wholesale vegetable markets, catering, and leaf drying for moringa powder and supplements.

Packing And Delivery
Pods are cut to a uniform length, bundled or laid flat in ventilated cartons with liners so they don’t rub, and pre-cooled before loading. Sea shipments move in reefers at 8 to 10 °C; air shipments leave within a day of picking, which is what most buyers choose for longer routes. Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and phytosanitary certificate go with every shipment.
